Other opportunities:
  • Join the RWC conversation about what you are thinking about doing in your classes in case of a lot of student H1N1 absences. Two sessions about coping w/ extensive absences are being held Sept 14, 9-11, or Sept 16, 1:30 – 3:30 in 158 Muntz. This will include demos of Blackboard’s Assignment Manager, adding audio to PowerPoint, and using videos for assignments.
  • The AFTL and the CET&L are hosting nationally known expert on course design, Barabara Tewksbury at the uptown campus. She’ll be talking about student learning outcomes, Thurs. Oct. 1, 3-5pm; designing assignments Fri. Oct 2, 9-12, and holding an all-day learning outcome workshop, Sat. Oct 3, 10-4. Watch for upcoming registration information.
